We are pleased to announce that both Max Thompson and Todd Kennedy are now serving as mediators. Either would welcome the opportunity to work with you in resolution of your claims. Mediations can be hosted at our Pikeville office, or we are willing to travel to a mediation location. We can also host mediations by Zoom videoconferencing as the need arises. Please also note the firm has attorney/mediator, David Stratton, serving of counsel, and David continues to serve as a mediator as well.
Mediation is an informal process in which a neutral third person, the Mediator, facilitates the resolution of a dispute between two or more parties. The process is designed to help parties reach an agreement on all or some of the issues in dispute. The ultimate decision-making authority remains with the parties. The Mediator assists the participants in identifying the issues, fostering joint problem solving, and exploring settlement options and alternatives.
